Apprenticeships
Engineering Apprenticeships
Three of the Stannah Group Operating Companies offer Engineering Apprenticeships every year. There are three main types of apprenticeships available.
Graduate Apprenticeships - Manufacturing
Graduate Apprentices are normally post ‘A’ level students who study on a day release basis initially for an HNC/HND then an Honours Degree in Engineering with Business. Both of the manufacturing sites in Andover recruit Graduate Apprentices.
Advanced Apprenticeships – Lift Engineer/Electrical Design
The Advanced Apprenticeship training programme is usually four years in duration and includes both college based and on-the-job training culminating in a BTEC Electrical/Electronic Engineering ONC/HNC. Exceptional students may be selected to study for an Engineering Degree at a later stage. Lift Engineer apprenticeships are available nationwide. Electrical Design apprenticeships are available in Andover.
Apprenticeship – Craft Apprenticeship
The Craft Apprenticeship training programme is usually four years in duration and includes both college based and on-the-job training culminating in a relevant qualification such as an ONC. Craft Apprenticeships are available in Andover.
