Stannah provide essential equipment to Paint Pot’s Nursery

Stannah have recently installed a Microlift (dumb waiter) at Paint Pots Nursery in Southampton.

The 50kg service lift provides an essential service to the thriving children’s day nursery.

Vicky Philpott, Nursery Manager explains: 'We operate in a designated area of deprivation, so in order to provide all-day care we must also be able to provide healthy meals to our children.  Our two-storey building could only accommodate a full working kitchen upstairs and our staff carrying food and drinks up and down stairs would be a health and safety hazard.  The solution was a Stannah Microlift that has enabled us to safely and efficiently provide healthy, nutritious meals to twenty eight children, between the ages of 3 months and 8 years, every day. We simply could not operate without our Microlift.’

Paint Pots Nursery provides day care and after-school care to help local families. In addition to their play and education facilities the brand new kitchen and lift ensures the nutritional care of all the children.
