Consider what the lift will be used for:
- Standing only, low capacity?
- Wheelchair?
- Wheelchair plus attendant?
- High capacity, heavy usage?
- How many lifts are needed?

Step 2:
Door type |
Piccolo lifts are only available with a side opening door. |
 Auto 2 panel side opening on car and landing
Door type: 2S 2S
Suitable for 6 and 8 person capacity lifts. |
Step 3:
Entrance position |
- Front only - smallest well, lowest cost
- Front and rear - increases well size and cost
- Adjacent entrances - available only on 8 person lifts as standard. This option increases well size and cost.

Step 4:
Mounting |
Structure-supported
- Available as an option for 6 and 8 person lifts
- Lower building cost as the load-bearing wall and lifting beam are not required
- Higher lift cost (approx. 10-20% of cost of lift)
- Slightly larger well size
- Scaffolding not required
