Meet the West Midlands and Mid Wales Team

John Pearshouse – Branch Manager

John PearshouseJohn joined Stannah in 1986. Initially joining as an Engineer with the Birmingham Branch he moved to a sales role before being promoted to Manager of the Mansfield Branch of Stannah Lift Services. John then returned to Birmingham Branch as Manager and currently has a team of 32 staff. An avid football supporter, John still finds plenty of time to enjoy life with his wife, son and daughter.

Dave Howell – Engineering Supervisor

Dave HowellDave is the new boy at the Birmingham Branch, having joined in 2006. This is, however, not his first role with Stannah. He began his career with the company as a Technical Sales Engineer before moving into his Engineering Supervisor role in 2007. He now manages a team of nine engineers.

Mick Ryan – Engineering Supervisor

Mick RyanMick joined Stannah in 1983 as a engineers mate. Over the years he has moved up through the company and is now an engineering supervisor which is a role he has been in since 2000. He manages a team of nine engineers.

Kelvin Williams – Repairs/Modernisation Supervisor

Kelvin WilliamsKelvin joined Stannah in 1988 and has progressed through to his role as Repairs and Modernisation Supervisor where he is responsible for four repair engineers. New work in major refurbishments has kept Kelvin extremely busy and currently he is engaged in extensive station lift repair projects for Network Rail. Kelvin is married with two children.

Susan Richards – Administration Supervisor

Susan RichardsSusan joined Stannah in 2000 and is responsible for five administration staff. Her particular area of expertise is customer service, also being the first port of call for any branch related queries.

Sharon Richards – Administration Team Leader

Sharon RichardsSharon, twin sister of Susan, joined Stannah in 1995 and later persuaded her sister to join the company. Sharon looks after Quality Assurance, she is now team leader at the Birmingham branch and in 2002 she won a national award for Customer Service Professional of the Year.

Peter Gay – Technical Sales Engineer

Peter GaySince starting with Stannah in 1995 Peter has worked as a Senior Repairs Engineer, then Service Supervisor and currently his role is Technical Sales Engineer. His responsibility is to secure new contracts for lift refurbishment and modernisations and increase the number of maintenance contracts held by the branch. Any spare time is spent with his wife and 2 children, cruising the waterways of the West Midlands on his narrow-boat.

Jonathan Bryant – Technical Sales Support

Jonathan BryantPeters right hand man and an IT whiz. Jonathan's role at Stannah is to liaise with our customers and provide quotations on the domestic and industrial side of our business. Since joining Stannah in 2000, Jonathan has made himself a valued member of staff.
