Meet the South West England and South Wales team

Harvey Liddington– Branch Manager

Joined April 2001 . Very much the new boy!

Helped facilitate the integration of Peter Brown Ltd (Glasgow), into the Stannah fold (Nov 2000 - Apr 2001) as an interim manager.

Previous employers include: Coventry University, Lister Petter, Clares MHE, Land Rover, Concentric Pumps, Delta Tubes, to name but a few. Trained as a toolmaker, after leaving Bournville Grammar School for Boys. However, later on in life transferred over to become a qualified metallurgist. After which he took on various supervisory & managerial roles, until settling down at Stannah.

Married to Bev, with two girls, Jodie & Georgia. Hobbies include, training the Burnham on Sea U10's at Rugby, where my daughter Georgia plays hooker. And also being a personal Chauffeur to my teenage daughter Jodie.

Christine Channon– Branch Supervisor

Christine joined the Bristol Electric Lifts Company (now Stannah) in 1975 as an Office Junior. Stannah took over in 1977. Promoted to Office Supervisor in 1998, Christine is married to Martyn and has two children.

Her brother Alan has also worked for Bristol Branch as an Engineer for 26 years.

Christine says she enjoys all aspects of her busy job dealing with customers and colleagues – which is probably why she has been with Stannah for over 30 years!

Martyn Channon - Repair Supervisor

Martyn joined Stannah in November 1966 as a Fitter's Mate. Manufactured and installed passenger and goods lifts. Worked as an Engineer out in the field until 1978 when he was promoted to Supervisor. Married to Chris, Bristol¹s Office Supervisor. Chris and Martyn have 70 years service between them for Stannah - that must be a record!

Mark Harding - Service Supervisor

Mark began his work with Stannah in April 1979 as a Lift Fitter¹s Mate. After 5/6 years he progressed to Service Engineer and in 2001 was promoted to his present role. Mark supervises 10 engineers working in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Chris Sullock - Service Supervisor

Chris has over 30 years experience in the lift industry. Joined Stannah in July 1994 as a Service Engineer in the Wales area. Completed NVQ Level 3 in December 2003. Promoted to Engineering Supervisor in 2002. Responsible for 8 Service engineers covering lifts and stairlifts in Wales and SW.

Malcolm Parker - Technical Sales Advisor

Malcolm joined Stannah Lifts in November 1978 as a Fitter. Promoted to Service Supervisor in 1987 and has been Technical Sales Advisor since January 2001. In November 2004 Malcolm completed 25 years service.

Neil Worthington - National Contracts Technical Sales Engineer

After working as an electrical engineer, repairing electric motors, Neil joined Stannah in 1988. He completed his modules to qualify as a lift engineer. Qualified as a Tester (NVQ4) and was promoted to Supervisor in August 1999. Neil joined the National Contracts team in June 2003 and is responsible for the South West area.

David Wiltshire - Storeman

David joined Stannah in 1999 as a Technical Clerk. His key task as Storeman is keep all the engineers stocked with spares and ship to off-site locations. David has a lifetime of experience in stock control/purchasing.

Julia Mead - Admin Team Leader

Joined the company in 1989 and looks after a team of 5 administrators.
