We are the Southern England Service Branch

At Stannah Lift Services in Christchurch we offer a complete maintenance, breakdown and repair service, based around a range of 3 maintenance contracts designed to suit every need and budget. All our contracts include regular preventative maintenance visits when our engineers will inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust all lift components. Our emergency breakdown service offers peace of mind through the knowledge that Stannah are available 24 hours a day to put your lift back into service.

Large refurbishment projects are a major part of our portfolio, where we often act as Principal Contractor, carrying out all builder’s work and supplying and installing be-spoke lifts with 2012 technology. Our most recent project has been for Network Rail at Chichester Station.

We can and do install all types of lifts, from all manufacturers; including high rise installations. Our portfolio management of multiple product sites provides personal and reliable service.

Dear Sir,
I must let you know how excellent I found your engineer who came to my rescue late in the evening yesterday. I live alone and am utterly dependant on the lift to go to bed.
I know the fault was hard to find and cure, and in a very difficult position.
I must say you pick your men well. He was not only efficient, but kind and reassuring. Considering it was a pouring wet night, you can imagine my gratitude to him. He just accepted a coffee and was off on his long drive back.
I must say there are not many men about like that these days.

Network Rail Case StudyNetwork Rail at Chichester Station

The Southern England Branch of Stannah Lift Services, based in Christchurch, has completed a major lift modernisation project for Network Rail at Chichester Station.


Mobile Communications

Stannah Lift Services operate a mobile communications system that enables the branch offices to be in touch with their travelling engineers all day, every day. Each engineer carries a laptop which displays all scheduled work for each week.

The engineer is able to fill in his log on completion of each site and send the information directly to the office for processing. A huge advantage of the system is the reduction in paperwork. The ability to be in direct contact with the engineers means emergency call-outs can be met even more quickly as it is possible to quickly locate the nearest engineer and be aware of his workload. Then, if necessary, schedules can be re-arranged to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved for our customers.
