Keith Peters – Branch Manager

Keith PetersKeith joined Stannah in 1993 as an apprentice fitter in London’s Crayford Branch, for domestic products such as stairlifts. In 1998 he moved to Dartford as an apprentice in passenger lift engineering to complete his knowledge of lifts on the commercial market. In 2001 Keith moved to work as part of a 3-man sales team with a responsibility for West London and Surrey. His outstanding success in the sales role at Dartford won him promotion to his current position as Branch Manager in 2008.

Ian Carter – Escalators and Moving Walkways Department Manager

Ian CarterWith Stannah in Norwich for more than 12 years, Ian has been instrumental in Stannah’s movement into the escalator and moving walkway market. Ian began his career as an electrical contractor and joined Stannah as a fitter’s mate. Over the next few years Ian moved to repair engineer, then on to major refurbishments followed by a very successful sales engineer. Ian is relishing his current role and enjoys the challenge of a new product area for The Stannah Group.

Kirsty Allin – Technical Administrator for Escalators and Moving Walkways Department

Kirsty has been with Stannah since April 2003, starting as a temp and being taken on in a permanent role in July. In March 2007 her role changed from being a Branch Administrator for the East Anglia Service Branch to Technical Administrator for the new Escalator and Moving Walkway Department. Her role is varied and ranges from dealing with initial enquiries through to raising quotes for existing units. She gained her NVQ3 in Customer Service in 2006.

Phil McGarvey – Administration Supervisor

Phil looks after an excellent team of 6 administrators, making sure the Norwich Branch gives excellent customer service and also support to the Stannah engineers out on the road. He joined Stannah in 1997.

Lynne HowesLynne Howes – Administrator

Managing Local Authority contracts and call-outs, Lynn has recently extended her role into sales, negotiating quotes and contracts through client visits and meetings. Her 14 years with Stannah is not surprising as her husband works as a lift engineer based at Norwich too!

Fiona Burt – Administrator

Fiona has worked for Stannah for over 11 years and deals with Industrial contracts. She keeps an eagle eye on the lifts that are under guarantee and maintains contracts from individual sites through councils, ensuring their smooth running and continued customer satisfaction. Fiona's friendly demeanour means she has a great rapport with her customers and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Mari FieldingMari Fielding – Administrator

Mari is the friendly voice for individual stairlift customers in the East of England and has been with Stannah for more than 12 years. She began on a Youth Training Scheme and got on so well she stayed! Mari has gained NVQ 2 in Business and NVQ 2 and 3 in Customer Services

Tony Purton – Industrial Engineering Supervisor

Tony PurtonAfter a career in the RAF Tony joined Stannah – and that was 20 years ago! He currently manages a team of 8 engineers and 2 apprentices to ensure all the industrial work is completed efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction. During his early years in the lift industry Tony gained J5 and J25 lift engineering qualifications.

Ray Thompson – Domestic Engineering Supervisor

Ray ThompsonWith a team of 6 engineers Ray looks after the efficient and safe operation of hundreds of domestic lifts for both local authority and individual owners. In addition to maintenance Stannah recycle lifts for Local Authorities, storing and reconditioning or replacing lifts. He joined Stannah on Valentine’s day in 1983 and has been in his current role for 9 years.

Ray has his NVQ3 in Management.

Trevor Puttock – Repair Supervisor

Trevor PuttockTrevor has a team of 3 Stannah engineers and also manages subcontracts when appropriate. He has been with Stannah since 1998 and in the lift industry since 1982. Trevor holds an NVQ3 in Lift Engineering (gained since being with Stannah), Unit 9 distance learning in Health & Safety and Unit 1 in lift technology.

Mick Leveridge – Technical Sales Engineer

Mick looks after all the major lift refurbishment work undertaken by the Norwich Branch and is a very busy man! He joined Stannah in 1983 as an apprentice, moved on to be a service engineer and then specialised in refurbishment work.

His experience in carrying out lift modernisation work made him the natural candidate for his present sales role. If you need a completely new lift in an existing shaft, new lift car, upgrade of your drive system or maybe a change of a single function like automatic doors, Mick can help.

Leigh Carey - Storeman

Leigh CareyLeigh has been with Stannah since 2002. When he joined the company he was part-way through his HNC which Stannah encouraged him to complete by allowing him day release for a year.

Leigh is a very keen photographer and likes to use design software. His manager has given him lots of encouragement to develop these skills.
