Our stairlifts need a regular 110V, household outlet in the US and Canada. The stairlift uses very little power to trickle-charge the battery, so it can share an outlet with most other appliances. For indoor stairlifts, the outlet needs to be within 10 feet of the staircase, and should be on the same side of the stairs as the stairlift.
