You’ve taken the first step on your stairlift journey
Here's what to expect next: Support from first conversation to ongoing service

When you reach out to Stannah, we guide you through each step of making your home more accessible. Our goal is to make the process simple, transparent and centered around your needs.
Connect With Us
Your first step is a quick phone call. After you reach out to request information a Stannah team member will call to confirm your details and schedule your free home visit.
You’ll see “Stannah” and our logo on your caller ID, so you know it’s us.
Please answer right away so we can secure the earliest and most convenient appointment time for you. Our survey slots fill quickly, and picking up the call helps us get you scheduled without delay.
During this brief conversation, a friendly consultant will:
- Listen to what you’re looking for
- Answer initial questions
- Learn a little about your stairs and your home
- Arrange a convenient time for your in-home stair survey

In-Home Stair Survey
During your home visit, one of our specialist advisors will come to your home to provide personalized recommendations. They’ll take precise measurements of your stairs, show you different chair styles, features, finishes, and rail configurations. They’ll explain exactly how a Stannah stairlift can fit beautifully into your home, so you can choose the look and function that best fits your home and lifestyle.
This visit gives you the chance to:
- See how the stairlift will look and function in your space
- Understand layout options (including where the lift will park when not in use)
- Ask questions and talk through what matters most to you
There’s no pressure and no obligation — just expert guidance right in your living room. It’s the best way to see what’s possible and get a clear, all-inclusive quote.
Explore Your Options
Once you’ve reviewed your options, you’ll then receive a firm, all-inclusive quote—clear, honest pricing with no hidden fees. From there, you can take your time to decide, knowing you have everything you need to move forward confidently.
Decide Whether to Rent or Buy
During your home visit, your Stannah advisor will help you determine whether renting or purchasing is the best fit for your situation.
Renting is a convenient, budget-friendly way to maintain access in your home without a long-term purchase. When the rental period ends, we’ll remove the stairlift at no additional cost.
Buying is a long-term investment in comfort and access.
Your advisor will walk you through both options—pricing, timelines, what’s included—and help you compare the total value of renting vs. owning. You’ll never be rushed or pressured. With all the information in front of you, you can decide what makes the most sense for your home and your budget.

Professional Installation
Once you’re ready to move forward, Stannah handles everything from start to finish.
Your stairlift will be installed by trained Stannah technicians, never subcontractors. They arrive with everything needed, walk you through the plan, and get to work right away.
We’ll handle cleanup, pack up materials, and leave your home just as we found it, except now, you’ll have improved accessibility on your stairs.
Ongoing Support & Warranty Protection
When you choose Stannah, you don’t just get a stairlift, you get the support of the manufacturer long after installation.
Every new stairlift includes our comprehensive warranty, covering major parts and labor for the specified term. And if questions arise later, we're just a phone call away.
If you ever need assistance, whether it’s a quick question or scheduling service, we’re here for you. Our goal isn’t just to install your stairlift, it’s to be a long-term partner in keeping your home comfortable and accessible.
With Stannah, you get peace of mind that lasts well beyond installation because you don’t just get a stairlift, the company behind it as well.
