Will my home need major construction?
Uplifts is designed to require minimal modifications. Your advisor will explain exactly what (if any) prep work is needed for your layout.
Will it fit if my ceilings are low?
Uplifts Compact models are designed for low overhead spaces — in many homes, they can work with a 90-inch ceiling height. Your advisor will confirm requirements for your exact layout.
Do I need a permit?
Permit and inspection requirements vary by state and municipality. Your local distributor can help you understand what’s required for your installation.
Can Uplifts carry a wheelchair?
Yes — the Uplifts S3 is designed to accommodate a wheelchair.
How many floors can it travel?
Uplifts homelift are designed to travel between two floors.
What happens if the power goes out?
Uplifts includes a backup battery system designed to help you travel safely in the event of a power outage.
How often should a homelift be serviced?
We recommend scheduling routine maintenance about once a year, similar to other major home equipment. Your distributor can help you set up an ongoing service plan.
Do I need an architect or builder?
Minimal structural work will be required to install the Uplift into your home. We will make all of the arrangements necessary, but if you are already working with a builder or architect, we will happily collaborate with them.
What do home lift prices look like in the US?
Pricing depends on the model, your home’s layout, and the options you choose. The most accurate way to understand cost is through a free in-home consultation and quote.

Your quote typically covers the full scope required to deliver a safe, working installation, such as:
