Your stairlift pricing guide
Stairlift prices may vary depending on your needs, but we are here to help you remain in the home you love and regain your independence
How do prices on stairlifts compare with other investments?
Investing in a stairlift can change your life by giving you the mobility to move about your house and to continue doing the things that define who you are. As it's a significant investment, it’s natural that one of the most frequent questions we’re asked is “How much will it cost?”.
For many, having a stairlift installed is a more desirable alternative to some of the more expensive options – such as remodeling your home or even moving to a new house or bungalow. With extended warranties, you also get a safety net that your investment is covered.
Factors that affect stairlift costs
When choosing a stairlift for yourself or a loved one, there are many questions to ask and factors to consider. Stannah stairlifts are custom-made to fit the dimensions of your staircase but also to fit your needs and wishes. Thus, every stairlift is different, just as every staircase and every person is unique. Multiple factors play a role in determining the price of your stairlift:
The type of staircase: straight, curved, spiral, indoor, or outdoor.
Your specific needs and concerns: for example, a swivel seat to make sitting and standing up easier.
The staircase configuration: one or multiple floors, with or without a door at the landing, seat positioned on the wall side or banister side, etc
Your choices in terms of aesthetics and design: over 200 stairlift combinations are available.
