Reconditioned stairlift prices start from only £2,620. Unlike buying a stairlift from a private seller or marketplace, a pre-owned Stannah stairlift will always be fully reconditioned and rigorously tested by our team of engineers. Our reconditioned stairlifts will only receive the Stannah reconditioned certification when it meets our own exacting standards of quality and safety. Also, any used stairlifts will never be older than 5 years old.

Our stairlift models, Starla and Siena are available with a Powered Easy-Turn seat option, as an alternative to manual swivel seats. The ergonomically designed controls on the arm of the chair allow the user to pivot the seat in order to disembark easily from the stair lift.
Alternative seatbelts
We also offer a variety of seatbelts to cater to different needs. For users with limited dexterity, the easy-to-fasten seatbelt will allow the user to easily fastened the seatbelt with one hand. While the five-point seatbelt provides extra support between the user’s legs and over their shoulders.

Are stairlifts tax exempt?
The vast majority of stairlift customers are eligible for a VAT exemption. There are two types of VAT exemption which provide discounts to eligible customers. View our VAT eligibility guide for more information.
Can I get funding for my stairlift?
Currently, there is no official stairlift grant, however, if you are eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant, it may be possible to get your stairlift installation partially funded by your local council. Read our grants for stairlifts guide for more information.
Will I need to pay for servicing?
We advise that you service your stairlift once a year, just like you should with any mechanical appliance. We're happy to offer annual servicing contracts after your warranty period expires, during which all your servicing needs are covered. Keep in mind, it’s always more cost-effective and less expensive to take out an annual service plan than pay for one-off visits.
How much does it cost to run a stairlift?
