Product warranty and extended warranty
A domestic lift is a substantial piece of engineering, so just like a boiler or car, it should be serviced yearly to keep it in perfect working condition

For full peace of mind, as part of any new domestic lift installation we provide a warranty period which includes homelift or stairlift servicing, replacement parts required due to wear and tear, and repair costs (subject to our terms and conditions).

Product warranty
As standard, all our new Stannah stairlifts and homelifts typically come with a two-year product warranty that includes two free annual services, one each year. Our reconditioned stairlifts come with a one-year product warranty and include one free service during that year.
Our Stannah stairlift warranty also covers repairs and callouts through your local service branch, with 24-hour UK emergency support should you experience a breakdown.
Extended warranty options
When ordering your home lift or stairlift you have the option to purchase an extended warranty at a discounted price when ordering your stairlift. This discounted offer is available before installation only and our sales advisers can talk you through your options.
Don’t worry, we understand that circumstances may change. So if you wish to cancel your extended warranty cover at a later date, we’ll refund any remaining years (any years without a completed service or call out).
When your warranty expires, we’ll give you the option of taking out a Stannah service contract.
Post warranty options
When your warranty expires, your local Stannah service branch will offer you a choice of Stannah service contracts for you to choose your level of coverage.
