If you’ve noticed that the lift will not travel in either direction and the lights on the lift car panel are ‘OFF’, check the door is shut by pressing the door button and check if the remote fob is off by pressing any button on the fob.

If your lift won’t travel up and there’s one green light ‘OFF’ on the lift car panel, then check whether anything is obstructing the safe edge and remove it.

If both green lights are ‘OFF’ on the lift car panel, check whether anything obstructs the infill panel on the upper surface and remove it.

If your lift won’t travel down and one yellow light is ‘OFF’ on the lift car panel, check for obstructions on the car underpan and door safety edge. If there are no yellow lights, check there is no obstruction to the infill panel.

If you hear a single short beep on the lift car every two minutes the batteries are low on the call station handset and require replacing. There are three CR2450 batteries required. Full instructions can be found in the user manual.

Refer to the user manual, however typically this means the smoke detection systems require inspection.
