Jo Hemmings

Jo Hemmings is Stannah’s expert psychologist. Jo has a wealth of experience in behavioural psychology and is a registered member of the British Psychological Society as well as in other accredited professional psychology bodies.

Jo specialises in media and news analysis in broadcasting, and she regularly appears on national, she is a regular on Psychologist on ITV, Good Morning Britain and GBNews as well as the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky News. She also participates in numerous radio shows at Times Radio, LBC, Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and BBC Radio 5 Live.

She is also the Consultant Psychologist on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch and often provides contributions to numerous UK-loved national press magazines and newspapers and magazines such as The Sun, The Guardian, The Independent, Vogue, and Grazia.

Jo has also collaborated with PR companies around brand awareness and over the years Jo has worked behind the scenes, to assist tv producers and contestants throughout the duration of reality shows, from selection to aftercare.

She’s also a dating and relationship coach and has been voted Dating Expert of the Year at the UK Dating Awards in 2014 and 2016. Jo is also the author of five books on relationships, psychology and dating such as Be Your Own Dating Coach and How Psychology Works.
